Manual Techniques and Natural Movement Training

Discover the physiotherapy difference

Manual therapy and natural movement training are different than traditional physical therapy. With this model, there is no reliance upon out-dated modalities, exercise equipment, or “the same old” list of exercises.

Each session begins with the hands-on application of forces to reduce and eliminate pain as well as to effect the length tension relationship of the soft tissues in and around joints in order to reestablish normal joint alignment and motion. This is accomplished using the manual techniques of myofascial release, joint mobilization, and muscle energy.

Clients are then provided with a customized approach to reconnecting with their innate movement patterns. Natural motion allows the human body to recalibrate its set point or find its homeostasis. Once regained, this dynamic equilibrium is largely self-regulating and allows for pain-free mobility without the intervention of practitioners or pharmaceuticals.

Independence and an increased quality of life are what we’re striving for, whether that means a return to walking and gardening or to high level athletic competition. Self-Sustainability is within your grasp!
